About the Heart Moon Institute™
My name is Diane Zander. I am a Registered Nurse, Reiki Master and consultant who enjoys photography, writing and connecting with nature. I have been working in the mental health field for over 20 years.
Many years ago, I was confronted with a core issue forcing me to explore my world. With the assistance from God, Mother Nature, Indigenous Healers and my willingness to heal the wounds of the past, I am now, embracing my authentic self. Today, I am trusting my intuition, and allowing love to fill my heart instead of fear, doubt and shame.
Traveling to sacred places around the world including the Amazon Rain Forest, the Andes, Africa, India, South America, Australia, China, Tibet, New Zealand and the Hawaiian Islands has been personally as well as professionally transforming. I am honored to be founder of Heart Moon Institute and welcome creative input. Enjoy more Photos
The Birth of Heart Moon
The name Heart Moon came about when one night coming home from work, I looked up at the sky and I became mesmerized by the beauty, grace and love emanating from the full moon.
Guided to capture that moment, I took this image with my 35 mm camera. I was shocked when the photo was developed.
The moon was transformed into a heart. Upon a closer look, wings appearing to look like an angel embraced the heart. A blessed gift from the universe!
Heart Moon was born.
